WINDY COVE has her first run on the turf at Windsor tomorrow in a 10 furlong handicap where she is drawn 11 of 14 runners. She ran a great race on handicap debut last time out at Kempton finishing third but only beaten a length. That was over 12 furlongs but we think she will be equally effective over 10 and 12 furlongs and this race looked ideal for her. We also feel the track will suit her as she raced prominently last time and it suited her and Windsor tends to favour those who run from the front. Obviously we can't be sure how she will act on the turf but she worked well on Friday on ground which was just quicker than good. We think she should handle all types of ground. She is gaining confidence with every run and is improving all the time so she should run a decent race tomorrow.
