GLITTERING heads west for Bath tomorrow where she runs in a mile handicap. She is well drawn in stall 1 of the 16 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. We are puzzled as to why she ran so dreadfully at Thirsk last time out. She may have been in season but she doesn't give us much indication when she is, it could also have been the ground as it was soft. She ran well over a mile at Nottingham when the ground was just on the soft side of good. The ground should be similar to that tomorrow, as the turf there is not watered it should be lovely ground. After the way she ran at Thirsk we thought we would try putting cheekpieces on her tomorrow, she has worn them at home and they are unlikely to have a negative effect so it is worth try. The draw is ideal as she will be ridden positively so if she can break well from that stall she can get a good position early on. She is capable of winning a race of this type on her home form. Let's hope she can put her best foot forward tomorrow and reward her loyal owners who have kept faith in her. She has a nice pedigree too so a win would boost her paddock value.
