GIOS LAST is having his first run for us at Wolverhampton tomorrow. He runs in a 12 furlong 0-52 amateur riders handicap. He won his last race, trained then by Keith Dalgliesh, last December. That race was a 0-55 handicap over the same trip at Kempton and the form has worked out very well. Tomorrow's race looks an ideal contest for him. He will be ridden by Harry Bannister, who is doing well over jumps, and will be one of the better amateurs riding at the moment. The only unknown is that he has not raced on the Tapeta surface before but it seems to be riding well there so that should not be a problem. He is a straightforward horse and has been pleasing us with his work at home. The horses are running well so we are hopefully he can make a winning start for us tomorrow.
