ICE SICE makes his debut over hurdles at Newbury tomorrow. There are 11 runners and Jack Quinlan takes the ride. He has schooled very well at home and will like the ground but he has to prove he will get the trip. He is a winner over a mile on similar ground and has looked as if he is crying out for further on the flat. If he is a 10 furlong performer on the flat then one would hope he gets 2 miles over hurdles. We have been very pleased with his preparation at home and is an interesting runner tomorrow.
NIMBLE KIMBLE returns to the track tomorrow after a holiday. She runs in a 7 furlong fillies handicap over 7 furlongs and is drawn 10 of the 12 runners. She has won over this trip and on this same surface at Lingfield, there is no reason why Kempton should not suit her equally well. The only slight concern is that she is coming back from a break and may need this first run and she is not favourably drawn. She has been working well at home so she should hopefully run a decent race.
