Debut for Blueberry Tart

Tuesday, October 4, 2005

BLUEBERRY TART makes her debut for the yard today at Leicester. She is running in a 6 furlongs fillies only handicap. This is a drop back in trip for her so she may find it too sharp but she is by the sprinter Bluebird. James Eustace was hoping for soft ground but the ground appears to be drying out now which will not be in her favour.

The ground will dictate where and when HIGH CARD runs this week. He is entered at Nottingham on Wednesday but he definitely needs cut in the ground. He has some alternative engagements at the weekend so will run wherever the ground is most suitable.

TOFFEE TREAT is entered at Southwell on Thursday in a 5 furlong median maiden race. This is a drop back in trip but it should suit her and she could run well providing she handles the fibresand surface.

ELM’S SCHOOL BOY could run at Warwick on Saturday in a 10 furlong banded race. He ran well enough in a similar contest last time out and this time the race is confined to 3 year olds only so if he runs up to form he would have a chance.
