Trip to the seaside for Sandy Cove
Thursday, June 26, 2014
SANDY COVE heads for Yarmouth tomorrow, he runs in a 10 furlong handicap. There are only 6 runners so hopefully he won't suffer the same experience as he did last time out at Brighton. He seemed very unlucky that day as he came there with every chance and then was completely stopped in his tracks 1/2 furlong from home and lost all momentum. One can put a line throughout the form of that race. On Racing Post ratings he appears to have a very good chance tomorrow and the ground and the trip will suit him. He gets in the race on a low weight and will be ridden by Ryan Tate who takes a further 3 pounds off his back. The danger could come from the unexposed Sir Mark Prescott runner, ANJIN, who's horses tend to hit form at this time of year.
