IRON BUTTERFLY switches to the flat tomorrow at Pontefract. She is running in The Jamaican Flight Handicap, the first race in the Pontefract Staying Series of races. The trip of 2 miles 2 furlongs will be no problem to her. She is a winner over nearly 2 miles at Catterick on the flat and her last run over hurdles was a good 3rd in a 2 miles 5 furlongs handicap hurdle at Warwick. Graham Gibbons, who won on her at Catterick, once again takes the ride. WILY FOX was second in the same race last year - let us hope that IRON BUTTERFLY can go one better. The race does look competitive and, once again, John Quinn provides the biggest danger!
