WILY FOX bounced back to his best yesterday to win at Warwick. The handicapper had been fair and dropped him 3 pounds so he was eligible to run back in a 0-115 handicap which is his level. He was always in a handy position, he jumped and travelled well throughout the race. It is hard luck on Kieran Edgar to have missed a winner and hopefully he can be reunited with him in the future but Jack Quinlan gave him a copybook ride yesterday. A big team of his owners, Blue Peter Racing 10, were there to cheer him home and the horse did not let them down. They certainly had a great day out on a gloriously sunny, warm spring day.
WILY FOX is qualified for the £50,000 final of the Jockey Club Grassroots Jump Series at Haydock on 19th April and this is now an obvious target for him.
