Major Crispies is first 2 year old runner tomorrow

MAJOR CRISPIES will be the yard's first 2 year old runner of the season at Leicester tomorrow. He runs in a 6 furlong maiden race and he is drawn 9 of the 13 runners. Luke Morris rides him and he has sat on him at home, he has been working nicely but will probably be a bit green first time out. He is a straightforward horse at home and it would be nice to see him run a decent race as he is a horse with a future. It will be a hot contest as all 6 furlong maidens at this time of the year seem to be trials for the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. The ground is good to firm at the moment but that should be fine for him as he is a good mover and the rest of the family like fast ground. It will be interesting to see how he runs tomorrow.
