London Skolar makes debut tomorrow

LONDON SKOLAR makes his racecourse debut at |Kempton tomorrow evening in a 10 furlong median auction maiden race. There are only 7 runners and 4 with previous form, the pick of these looks to be INCORPORATE. LONDON SKOLAR is drawn next to him in stall 2 which is a good draw. He is a full brother to IRON CONDOR and on breeding is very much a horse for the future. He has been working nicely at home and has shown enough speed and turn of foot to run well over this trip but will stay further in time. It is good to get him on the track and he should run a nice race.
LONDON SKOLAR is named after 1 of only 2 professional rugby league teams in London. Harold Nass, who bred and owns the horse, is the club president. They started their season well last Saturday with an empthatic victory beating the South Wales Scorpions by 54-12. Let's hope this is a good omen for the horse and he can run well tomorrow.
On Thursday TIGHT LIPPED heads back to Southwell where he was second last week over a mile. He is wearing a visor which he has worn once before when he was third at the same track in a competitive handicap last summer . As he is dropping back to 7 furlongs we thought it might just help him. He is due to go up 2 pounds in future races so in theory he is well in. He has come out of last weeks race really well so he should put up another good performance on Thursday .
