Windsor to suit Viking Rose tomorrow

Sunday, August 19, 2012
VIKING ROSE runs at Windsor tomorrow evening and the track there should suit her style of running. She runs in a fillies handicap over a mile and there are only 9 runners. Frustratingly her saddle slipped last time. She has a lighter weight tomorrow and Adam Beschizza rides her claiming 3 pounds. With a smaller weight cloth there is a less chance of her tack slipping again. Let's hope she has more luck than last time as she seems in good form at home. BALCARY BAY also runs tomorrow evening but he goes to Kempton for a 10 furlong median auction maiden. He ran very well at Yarmouth first time out over a mile. That race was on soft ground which suited him well but there is no reason why he can't run equally well on the polytrack, he works well on it at home. He is a brave horse so can hopefully run another nice race tomorrow.
