SUZI'S A CLASS ACT runs at Salisbury tomorrow after her fine victory at Yarmouth last week. The handicapper has put her up 9 pounds for that win but she runs off her old mark tomorrow with a 6 pound penalty so is 3 pounds better off than she will be in future races. She will be carrying top weight but she is a big filly so should be able to carry the weight. Adam Beschizza, who rode her to victory last week, gets the ride again and claims 3 pounds. The race is over the same distance as last week, 1 mile 6 furlongs, and hopefully the ground will be good as her best form is on good ground. It is currently good to firm but they were expecting some rain. The slight concern is if they don't go a reasonable gallop early on in the race but she took it up early in the straight at Yarmouth last week and wasn't stopping at the end so she should be happy to take up the running early on if there is no pace in the race. There are 12 runners tomorrow and it looks a stronger contest but she seems in good form so we are hoping for the best. It would be great if she could win again but whatever she achieves now is a bonus as she will be retained as a broodmare now that she is a winner.
