Rain will help Samba Night tomorrow

Sunday, July 29, 2012
SAMBA NIGHT runs in the 5 furlong handicap at Yarmouth tomorrow and we are hoping they get the rain that is forecast. The ground is currently good/firm and he does have form on all types of going but he will be suited, especially over this trip, with some cut in the ground. So far 5 furlongs has looked too sharp for him but tomorrow's race is not the strongest race in the world. He has enough speed for 5 furlongs but has not had the rub of the green yet in previous runs over this distance. The more rain they do get the better his chance will be, he has been running consistently but has not managed to get his head in front. Let's hope he can change that tomorrow.
