Scottish Star Steps up in trip

Wednesday, July 25, 2012
SCOTTISH STAR runs over 12 furlongs for the first time at Doncaster tomorrow and he should appreciate the step up in trip. He is a big long striding horse who likes top of the grond so the ground and the track should suit him well. He has been a little unlucky in his last 2 runs but we are very hopeful of a good run from him tomorrow. IRON BUTTERFLY heads for Sandown tomorrow where she runs in a mile maiden race. She ran very well over 10 furlongs at Windsor last time out and showed alot of speed that day. Hopefully over a mile they will go a good pace which will help her to settle early on, it is a stiff track so she should stay on up the hill. She has been off the track for nearly 2 months since her last run as she got struck into quite badly that day and it has taken a while to heal. She is not well drawn tomorrow but can hopefully give a good account of herself.
