Rose returns to Yarmouth

VIKING ROSE returns to the course and distance she likes tomorrow, a straight mile at Yarmouth. She is also drawn 1 which suite her as she is on the outside of the runners, she doesn't like to be crowded. She will have to carry top weight but she has run well with big weights before and she is running back in her grade, her last 2 runsd have been up in class. She goes on any ground so the going won't worry her but it should be genuinely good fast ground tomorrow. There are a couple of 3 year olds in the race who could be improving types but VIKING ROSE is very tough and genuine and should be thereabouts tomorrow. Cathy Gannon is in the saddle and she rode her last year at Pontefract when she was a good second so she knows the filly well. DENTON DANCER also runs at Yarmouth tomorrow in a 12 furlong handicap. Although wearing blinkers in his last 2 runs clearly worked we don't feel he really is a sprinter. At the beginning of the season it was thought he was a middle distance horse and he is by Halling, an influence for stamina, so we have reverted to that idea. He has been waiting for the better ground which he should get tomorrow. It was reported that he bled from the nose in his last run. This was due to a knock he got when he reared in the stalls which gave him the nosebleed. He was not bleeding from his lungs.
