Iron Condor steps up in trip

Tuesday, July 3, 2012
IRON CONDOR runs in a 2 mile handicap at Kepton tomorrow evening, he has been crying out for a longer trip . He has matured into a galloping type stayer so it should be ideal for him. He is a previous winner at Kempton so the track and surface will suit him. He has been waiting for the ground to dry up as he likes fast ground but with the rain continuing to fall any turf action has been put on hold. The race tomorrow is a 0-90 handicap so it is a good class handicap but there are only 9 runners and he has bottom weight of 8st 4lbs. He is used to carrying a much higher weight in lesser grade races so will hopefully enjoy having less weight on his back.
