Two runners tomorrow

Sunday, May 27, 2012

DENTON DANCER & IRON BUTTERFLY both run at London tracks tomorrow. DENTON DANCER heads for Kempton where he runs in a mile handicap. He will be wearing blinkers for the first time which he has worn at home and they seem to have had a positive effect. He is showing more speed in his homework so that is why he is dropping back in trip from 9 to 8 furlongs. Hopefully the blinkers will have the desired effect on the racecourse and he can show an improvement in form tomorrow.

IRON BUTTERFLY runs in a 10 furlong maiden race at Windsor tomorrow evening. The ground is a bit of an unknown but Windsor normally do a very good job watering so hopefully it will be good safe ground. This is only her second run and she ran over a mile first time out, the step up in trip should be more to her liking. She has hopefully come on for her first run so it will be interesting to see how she runs tomorrow, she looks a nice filly for the future.
