Wily Fox to revel in the mud

Friday, May 4, 2012
WILY FOX is declared to run at Uttoxter tomorrow in a maiden hurdle  and they are very hopeful that racing will go ahead, no inspection is planned. He has been ready to run for the last 10 days but with several meetings abandoned he has not been able to take his chance. He has had a small break so is fresh and well. He will like the ground and on his best form he would have a chance. The only slight concern is that he has run at Uttoxeter twice before and has not shown his best form there but hopefully he can put that right this time. It would have been preferable if the race had been a handicap but he is capable of winning a maiden. It is a big field with 18 runners so he will need a bit of luck in running too.
