Quiet week due to lack of suitable races

Friday, May 6, 2005

James Eustace is having a quiet week this week due to lack of suitable opportunities for his horses. There just simply aren't the right races this week to suit the horses that are ready to run at the moment. However some entries have been made for next week.

RAFFISH is entered for Windsor on Monday in a mile and a half handicap. He was badly hampered on this track last time out, hopefully he can have better luck in running this time and finish a lot closer. James Eustace does not think that Windsor is an ideal track for him but there is a lack of suitable races for him in the south.

On Tuesday RUBY WINE is running in a 12 furlong maiden at Yarmouth where she should have a very good chance. The form of her Newbury race is working out well as the second in the race, Alumni, won the Cheshire Oaks at Chester this week. Jamie Spencer, who rode her at Newbury and has been to ride her out at home, will hopefully be available to ride her again. She is being stepped up in trip but on pedigree that should suit her. She is a big long striding filly so should hopefully find the Yarmouth track to her liking.
