Hurdling debut for Go Set Go tomorrow

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

GO SET  GO and THE CAT CREATION  run at local track Huntingdon tomorrow and Matt Crawley takes the ride on both horses. It will be GO SET GO'S first run over hurdles after some promising runs in NH flat races. He was all set to make his jumping debut at the end of last season but the ground went against him, he needs cut in the ground which he will get tomorrow. He has schooled well at home so hopefully he will run well. HEATHER ROYAL will be hard to beat but if GO SET GO runs well in his first run over hurdles James will be happy with that.

THE CAT CREATION runs in the juvenile hurlde race in which there are 15 runners. He ran a very encouraging race first time out at Newbury so hopefully he can build on that performance. He is very much a National Hunt bred horse so may find 1 or 2 ex flat horses will be a bit sharper than him. For a tall weak horse he has taken the Newbury race very well. It will be interesting to see how he runs tomorrow. Both horses are interesting horses for the future.
