Fulney for the Future

Monday, October 3, 2011

Fulney makes her racecourse debut at Leicester on Tuesday, she is a nice filly and it will be interesting to see how she runs. She runs in a 7 furlong fillies maiden which is traditionally a good race. All the big yards are represented so if she can run well in that company she should have a bright future. She is bred to stay 1 1/2 miles but she has got speed and does show a turn of foot at home. She has been working nicely at home so can hopefully run a decnt race tomorrow, she is an interesting prospect for the future.

DENTON DANCER runs at Warwick today in a 7 furlong maiden auction race which does not look the strongest contest. From an original entry of 38 there are only 9 runners. So far he has not shown on the track what he has shown at home but he does seem to be coming back to himself now after being gelded. He has worked quite nicely in cheekpieces at home so he will be wearing them today. The ground and the trip should be in his favour so he could run into a place at a long price.
