Chance to strike with South African Gold

Thursday, September 15, 2011
SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD has conditions in his favour at Lingfield tomorrow so must have a good chance. The quicker the ground the better for him and he is well drawn in 10 of the 15 runners. A high draw is favourable even when the ground is fast. It is his first run over 5 furlongs but he has always shown alot of early speed, especially on the turf, so it should suit him. He ran well last time out on ground slower than he would have liked, before that he won on fast ground so hopefully he can bounce back to winning form again tomorrow. The horses are running well, A BOY NAMED SUZI ran a very good race to finish second in a valuable handicap at Yarmouth today and VIKING ROSE was a good third in a big field at Pontefract.
