2 chances in the same race tomorrow

Wednesday, August 31, 2011

A BOY NAMED SUZI and SUZI'S A CLASS ACT run in the same race at Kempton tomorrow evening in a 12 furlong handicap. Theye are in the same ownership and represent 25% of the field as there are only 8 runners. A BOY NAMED SUZI has an obvious chance as he has won on the polytrack and was narrowly beaten at Kempton as a 2 year old. he has been running consistently well so should definitely be thereabouts. SUZI'S A CLASS ACT has yet to show on the racecourse what she is really capable of, at home there is not much between the 2 horses. James is sure she will get the trip but when she ran over this distance before it was on soft ground and she didn't seem to handle it. She works well on the polytrack at home so connections were keen to find a race for her on it.  Her run tomorrow will hopefully determine what her best trip is, she should get further in time. They should both run well and it would be nice for the owners to get both horses in the frame.
