Yarmouth Raid

Park Lodge Stables goes three-handed to Yarmouth tomorrow evening.

NOVERTON runs in the 7 furlong fillies handicap.  She is resuming battle with Luca Cumani's filly, Mundana, who narrowly beat her at Salisbury in a 7 furlong maiden.  NOVERTON is now 8 pounds better off with Mundana and therefore she has a chance of turning the tables this time.  The ground was soft at Salisbury when they last met and yet NOVERTON ran a decent race first time out on fast ground previously.  Therefore the forecast rain should not necessarily effect her participation.

SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD returns to Yarmouth where he won 3 weeks ago.  He was only raised 2 pounds by the handicapper for his win which is reasonable.  The ground was fast when he won and he would be withdrawn if the ground comes up softer than good tomorrow evening.  There is a chance of heavy rain overnight and tomorrow morning.  Assuming the ground stays good or faster, SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD does seem in good form at home and could be capable of following up.

IRON CONDOR runs in the last race a mile and a half handicap.  He ran a very encouraging race first time out after a long break at Newmarket two Saturdays ago and was dropped 3 pounds by the handicapper which lets him into this 0-65 handicap.  He does appear to need fast ground and it is thought that he can match his good all-weather form on the right ground.  He also would be withdrawn if the ground was considered too soft.
