MISS EXHIBITIONIST has been found a good opportunity to open her account at Wolverhampton tomorrow. She is following a similar pattern to A BOY NAMED SUZI who ran well in a handicap before winning his maiden, let's hope she can do the same. She was third last time out in a good fillies handicap at Sandown. This looks an easier race so if she can reproduce that form she must have a big chance. The John Gosden trained Trumpington Street looks the main danger. The surface should not be a problem as she ran well at Lingfield on the artificial surface, she handled the track well there too. The only concern tomorrow is that she may find the track a bit tight as she is a big filly but the way she acted around Lingfield would give you hope that she should be fine. It would be particularly pleasing for the owner, Mrs Whitlock, if she won as she is a home bred so it would be great to own and breed a winner.
VIKING ROSE has also been found an ideal race tomorrow, a maiden handicap at Southwell. She ran very well at Brighton last time to finish third, it showed her previous run at Kempton to be all wrong. She showed good speed at Brighton so she has been dropped back to a mile from 10 furlongs. The slight worry is that she may not enjoy the kickback, this could have been the reason for her poor display at Kempton. Luckily she is drawn 9 of 14 so can be kept fairly wide away from the kickback and this is not a disadvantage at this track. Statistically alot of winners do come from a mid draw there. VIKING ROSE certainly has the ability to win a race of this type as long as she handles the track.
