SUZI'S A CLASS ACT ran very well on her debut in a Newmarket maiden and runs at Windsor in a 10 furlong maiden tomorrow evening. She is by Act One whose progeny like soft ground so she will like the going and the more rain the falls the better. She has improved at home from her Newmarket run which must give her a goods chance tomorrow as long as she handles the track and the outside draw isn't too much of a disadvantage. She would probably be better on a more galloping track but the going at Windsor will suit her well. She is a filly with ability and should run well tomorrow.
VIKING ROSE was declared for Windsor too but she got ballotted out so heads for Brighton on Tuesday instead. There are only 9 declared to run and it looks a slightly weaker race, she also prefers soft ground so would benefit from more rain down on the south coast. She didn't run her race at Kempton last time, she is definitely better than the form she showed there. She is dropping back in trip slightly this time which may help but it wasn't just the trip that was to blame last time. On her form at home she is capable of running well off her current handicap mark so hopefully she can show that form on the track on Tuesday. She ran well first time out in a hot maiden so if she can reproduce that run she should have a chance.
