Viking Rose first run in handicap company

Tuesday, May 10, 2011
VIKING ROSE makes her debut in handicap company at Kempton tomorrow evening. She is stepping up to 12 furlongs but on breeding she should get the trip. She ran well on the polytrack first time out last season so should handle the track. She does not want fast ground so the polytrack is her only option at the moment and this seems an ideal race for her. On her homework she would have a chance off her rating, the only slight worry is whether she has enough experience in a handicap.
WILY FOX ran another sound race at Brighton yesterday, finishing second. He stayed on well and may appreciate a stiffer test of stamina.
