Wily Fox drops back in trip

Wednesday, April 13, 2011
WILY FOX  runs in a 10 furlong handicap at Brighton on Friday. He may have found the trip too far last time out so he is being dropped back in trip slightly. He was also too keen in his last race but hopefully they will go a better pace over a shorter trip which will help him too settle. There are only 7 runners and Seb Sanders takes the ride.He is one of the leading jockeys at the track so he will get good assistance from the saddle. The horse is fit and well and must have a good chance. The only unknown is the going as he is unproven on good/firm ground but there is no reason why he shouldn't act on it. They may get some rain there before Friday which won't inconvenience him.
