Test of stamina for Torran Sound tomorrow

Monday, March 21, 2011

TORRAN SOUND heads for Exeter tomorrow to run in a novice handicap hurdle over almost 3 miles. He ran very well last time out at Huntingdon in a handicap over 2 1/2 miles and ran as though this extra distance would suit him. He has an abundance of stamina as he has won over 2 1/4 miles on the flat. It is a long way for a 4 year old but he gets a weight for age allowance so is quite well in at the weights and back in novice company it should be an easier contest than last time. He seems to go on any going so the good ground tomorrow will be fine for him. He is in good form at home so must have a decent chance tomorrow.
