Karky Schultz

Very sadly we lost KARKY SCHULTZ at Newbury on Saturday.  Everyone connected with him will miss him immensely.  He has been a great servant and a great warrior for the yard over several years but most especially since he went jumping.  His form this season has been a step up on previous seasons and we were all dreaming of a possible run either at Cheltenham or Aintree.  Sadly this will not now happen but we have had some great days with him and we will treasure those memories.
On a brighter note the other weekend runners acquitted themselves well.  GO SET GO in particular showed a good turn of foot and again much promise when finishing 3rd in an all-age bumper at Kempton on Saturday.  The winner looks very smart and the first three drew 14 lengths clear of the rest of the field.  BAAN and WESTER ROSS ran respectable races at Huntingdon on Sunday on ground that was not ideal for either of them.
