Wily Fox makes English debut

WILY FOX will be having his first run in this country at Wolverhampton tomorrow. His previous runs were in France and he was bought at the autumn horses in training sale with a view to being a potential dual purpose horse. James has been very pleased with him so far and he has been working nicely at home. He thought it was worth having a go on the flat before trying him over hurdles. The stable is in very good form and WILY FOX has worked respectably with yesterdays winner SCOTTISH STAR. He does not have as good a turn of foot as SCOTTISH STAR but tomorrow's race looks a weaker contest so he must have a chance. The unknown is how he will handle the polytrack surface but the horse is in very good form at home so he will hopefully run a decent race tomorrow. A strong team of his owners, Blue Peter Racing 10, will be there so let's hope he gives them something to cheer about!
