South African Gold under the lights

Thursday, September 16, 2010
SOUTH AFRICAN GOLD runs at Wolverhampton under the lights on Saturday evening in the 8.50pm race. He is stepping up in trip to 8 1/2 furlongs which should suit him. He was third last time out at Lingfield and looked then as if he was crying out for an extra furlong. He has had a wind operation which seems to have been successful, he has come out of his last race well and is in good form at home. He has a handy draw, 6 of 13, so is bang in the middle. Hopefully this will enable him to tuck in behind the leaders and if can finish as well as he did at Lingfield he should be thereabouts this time.
