Missed Turn hopes to go one better

Friday, December 3, 2004

MISSED TURN has 3 entries on Monday, her most likely engagement being the 8 furlong selling race at Wolverhampton. This would be the easier of the 3 options and on her Lingfield form she would have a good chance of going one better. She has come out of that race really well so let’s hope she can have her head in front on the line this time. Unfortunately Lisa Jones, who got on so well with her last time, is unavailable to ride her but Dale Gibson should prove to be a very able substitute.

INNPURSUIT is also entered at Wolverhampton on Monday but the race may come too soon after his last race and he could wait for another contest. He ran a nice race last Saturday at Lingfield and got the trip really well. It was a very encouraging performance and he should make up into a nice 3 year old. He will probably have a break after his next run.

There may not be many runners now but Park Lodge is still very busy as the majority of the yearlings are now in. There are 14 new inmates of which 8 are already being ridden out on the heath. At the moment they look a very nice bunch and they are taking their early education really well
