DOYENNE DREAM heads to Fontwell in Sussex tomorrow for her second run over hurdles. In spite of jumping markedly to her right at Hereford there were many positives to be drawn from her first run. It was asking a lot of her to attempt to make the running first time out over hurdles at Hereford. She has always schooled well at home and I am hopeful that she will put up a more polished display of jumping if ridden differently to Hereford. We still might find that she will be better on a right-handed track but as all the juvenile hurdles over the next few weeks are left-handed, we have decided to run at Fontwell and see how she performs. In herself she has taken her first run over timber very well and has been training well at home.
Our only previous runner at Fontwell was POCHARD, also a filly, who began her hat-trick winning sequence at Fontwell a couple of years ago.
