Tiger Star tackles longer trip

TIGER STAR steps up to 12 furlongs for the first time at Wolverhampton tomorrow. He ran a nice race over 10 furlongs at sandown last time out and looked then as if a longer trip would suit him. His pedigree also suggests that he should stay further. It will be his first run at Wolverhampton but ran well on the polytrack at Kempton last year as a 2 year old, finishing second so the surface shouldn't be a problem. It is just a question of whether the tight track will suit him. He is not suited to the current fast ground on turf so this race is his only option at the moment. The horses seem to be coming right now and TIGER STAR is in good form at home. It does look a competitive handicap for the all weather but hopefully he can run a nice race.
