Karky Schultz back over hurdles today

Friday, April 30, 2010
KARKY SCHULTZ runs over hurdles at Bangor this evening. They have watered the track to keep the ground good and with the chance of rain today the ground should be fine for him. He won on the flat 18 days ago so is still in good form, he is such a tough horse and  is extremely well at home. It looks a competitive race on paper but the recent form of some of the main contenders is not so good so he should have a decent chance. He will be joining Wester Ross on a summer holoiday soon but will keep going while he is still in good form and with the prospect of some soft ground.
It was a last minute decision to run STORMING REDD at Folkestone yesterday so he was omitted from the website. When there were only 2 horses declared and the race was re opened James Eustace decided to let him take his chance. He ran a very encouraging race to finish second, a very promising performance as this was his first start. DOYENNE DREAM also ran a promising race, finishing second at Yarmouth on Tuesday. The middle distance 3 year olds look a nice bunch as they have now recorded 3 seconds, they can hopefully convert these to winners as the season progresses.
