Southwell for Singin' The Blues

Wednesday, April 21, 2010
SINGIN' THE BLUES runs on the fibresand at Southwell tomorrow evening in a 7 furlong median auction maiden. He is a soft ground horse but with the weather set fair there is no prospect of ground too his liking imminently so the all weather is the best option. He has a stiff task on ratings at the weights but the step up in trip to 7 furlongs should be in his favour and the fibresand might suit him well. He has come out of his last race well so he should run a decent race.
The 3 year olds have been running well recently. IRON CONDOR ran really well at Pontefract on Monday, finishing a good second. The first 2 drew well clear of the other runners. He ran a bit fresh and was a bit keen so should improve for the run. He will also appreciate even further. TIGER STAR ran a promising race at Nottingham on Saturday. He looks as if he will also be suited by a step in trip. Both these horses look like nice staying handicappers for the future.
