2 chances at Wolverhampton tomorrow

Friday, October 16, 2009
GENEVA GEYSER runs in a 12 furlong handicap at Wolverhampton tomorrow evening. His only previous run over this trip was one of his best runs as he finished third despite banging his head leaving the stalls and the winner has subsequently won a Listed race. He has won on the surface before at Great Leighs but the track is an unknown, he is a big horse so may find the track quite tight. If he does handle the track he has a good chance at a big price. He worked well earlier in the week. He is entered in the Horses in Training sale at the end of the month but if he wins tomorrow the owner may reconsider this as being able to run in races over further than 10 furlongs gives him more options.
WESTER LODGE rarely runs a bad race at Wolverhampton. He runs over 2 miles in a weaker race than he ran in last time out when he finished third. On this form he must also have a chance tomorrow.
