The yearling sales season is here again

Monday, September 13, 2004

James has gone to America today,he is attending the Keeneland sales which is the world’s largest yearling auction He has an order to buy one there but would be very happy to buy a few more if anyone is interested! The yearling sales in Doncaster last week were very strong with plenty of demand for the nice horses.

It is a quiet week for runners this week.BLUE PATRICK is out to redeem his reputation at Salisbury tomorrow in a mile classified stakes race. He was very disappointing at Kempton on his last run but he got extremely sweaty before the race and then went too fast in front and basically burnt himself out. He seems in good form at home since the race so hopefully he can put up a better performance tomorrow. CONSIDINE is entered at Nottingham on Friday but only runs if it does not rain. He could also get balloted out as there 59 entries in the race and only 18 can run.
