AT THE MONEY has been dropped a few pounds by the handicapper so can now run in a lower grade of handicap which should suit him. He runs over hurdles at Lingfield tomorrow and will be ridden by Felix de Giles who will take a valuable 3 pounds off his back. James Eustace would be delighted to see more rain fall there this afternoon. He must have a good chance on his previous form and the horse is in good order.
JOE CASTER also takes a drop in grade tomorrow when he runs in a 6 furlong handicap at Kempton. He ran respectably last week in Listed company as he had a terrible draw. He has come out of the race well and tomorrow's race is a very tight handicap but it is a more realistic option for him. He will need them to go a good gallop and it will be his first time running on a right handed track but there is no reason why this should inconvenience him.
Big D will be doing rain dances all weekend for WESTER LODGE as he is due to ride him at Doncaster on Sunday. The horse has had leg problems in the past so won't run if the ground is too firm. The race should be ideal for him, 10 furlongs on the turf and he is well drawn in 1.
On Monday GENEVA GEYSER makes his seasonal reappearance at Lingfield on the all weather in a 7 furlong handicap. The horse is ready to run but there are no suitable turf races for him over the next 2 weeks. He is a big horse so Lingfield will not be ideal for him but it will give him some valuable racecourse experience. He fell in his first race and won his only other start so he has only completed once to date. He has done really well over the winter and he is a nice horse in the making.
