A step up for Joe Caster tomorrow

Friday, March 20, 2009
JOE CASTER steps up in class and trip at Lingfield tomorrow. He runs in a Listed Race over 7 furlongs. It is a valuable contest so James Eustace thought it was worth having a crack. It is a hot race and he has the worst draw, 14 of 14. He is a previous winner on the polytrack but not over this distance. From that draw, the plan will be to drop him out and ride him to get the trip. The horse seems very well in himself so hopefully he can run a nice race tomorrow.
AT THE MONEY and KARKY SCHULTZ were both entered at Huntingdon on Sunday as the ground will be too firm. This has not been helped by the racecourse watering system breaking down, not good timing.
