Karky Schultz breaks new ground at Bangor
Tuesday, February 24, 2009
James Eustace will be making his first trip to Bangor-On-Dee tomorrow to saddle KARKY SCHULTZ in the 4 year old novices handicap there. The horse is very well and fit and a bold showing is expected. He ran very well on his last start at Sandown. That was a handicap against older horses and he is on the same handicap mark tomorrow. He probably hit the front too soon that day and made a mistake at the last flight as he was on his own, the aim will be to hold him until after the last tomorrow. He is entered in the Fed Winter Hurdle race at the Cheltenham festival. He would have to win tomorrow to get into the race but if he does he will probably take his chance there.
