Jumping action hoping to resume this week

Sunday, January 11, 2009
Jump racing has has a pretty blank time recently but the forecast is for the weather to improve next week. James Eustace is hoping to run Sunny Sprite over hurdles at Folkestone on Tuesday. He was disappointing on his debut at Doncaster as he had schooled well at home. He has schooled well since so hopefully it was just 'a bad day at the office' first time out. The question mark is whether he will get the trip.
CHASE END makes her racecourse debut at Great Leighs this afternoon. She works nicely at home and it is not the strongest maiden so she could run a decent race. There are only 7 runners and she has a good draw.
FARSIGHTED was clearly outpaced over 7 furlongs at Kempton last week so she is stepping up to 10 furlongs at Lingfield on Friday. Let's hope this proves to be her trip and she can show some improved form.
