Hurdling debut for Wester Ross tomorrow

Tuesday, October 28, 2008
WESTER ROSS could be an exciting prospect over hurdles this winter and he makes his debut at Huntingdon tomorrow. He has schooled well at home so hopefully he can put that too good effect on the racecourse. It looks quite a competitive race and he may need further than 2 miles over hurdles but it is a good place to start. The ground should be good, he wouldn't want it to get any softer. KARKY SCHULTZ also runs at Huntingdon tomorrow in the juvenile hurdle which has been divided. He looks to be in the weaker division and if he has come on from his promising debut at Kempton recently he should run a good race.
On Thursday it is back to the flat, PENPERTH makes her racecourse debut in the mile 2 year old fillies maiden at Great Leighs. Most of the 2 year olds have needed their first run of the season so she will probably benefit from this run. She has been going nicely at home so should run a respectable race. The 2 year olds have been running well recently with a winner and a third this week.
