There was great jubilation at WOLVERHAMPTON on Saturday evening when JOE CASTER recorded his second win and first on the polytrack. He was bred by Gillian Walker and she still owns him with some of her family and they all live near Wolverhapton racecourse. Some of them were obviously there on Saturday evening to cheer him home to victory. As he is in such good form he will continue to race this year. He could go to Catterick next Tuesday and/or Doncaster the following Saturday. Those are his last chances on the turf but he will continue on the all weather as he clearly acts well on the surface.
Tomorrow at Yarmouth James Eustace is double represented by INTEGRIA and MISTER STANDFAST in the 7 furlong maiden race. INTEGRIA ran better than his finishing position suggested at Windsor on his debut as he sat back in the stalls and was slowly away. He is expected to run a much better race tomorrow but it is quite a hot race on paper. He has worked nicely at home with JOE CASTER and he will be suited by the soft ground. MISTER STANDFAST may not be strong enough at this stage to cope with the more testing underfoot conditions. He did run better at Leicester last time out and showed some speed.
