Double handed for the big prize tomorrow

Wednesday, October 1, 2008
James Eustace saddles 2 runners in the 250,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow. With prizemoney down to tenth place he is hopeful of getting some share of the prizemoney on offer. The two runners are BLUE ARCTIC and TURKISH LOKUM and there isn't too much to choose between them. BLUE ARCTIC is slightly more experienced and will handle the conditions better if the ground remains fast. TURKISH LOKUM would definitely prefer some cut in the ground. They are both drawn relatively low in stalls 6 and 9. It is hard to know if this is is a good or bad draw at this stage. Both fillies have a low weight and are in very good form so they have every chance of finishing in the prizemoney tomorrow.
