First run in a nursery for Blue Arctic tomorrow

Sunday, September 21, 2008
BLUE ARCTIC runs in a 6 furlong fillies nursery at Leicester tomorrow. She had been in the frame in all her 3 runs to date and has been working nicely at home recently. It is her first time in a handicap so it is hard to know if the handicapper has her on the right mark or not but she has a nice racing weight tomorrow and Luke Morris takes a useful 3 pounds off her back. He knows the filly well to as he has ridden her at home. It looks a competitive race tomorrow though and she does not have the best of draws, 18 of 18, but hopefully she will run well.
At Kempton tomorrow ON CUE  makes her racecourse debut in a 7 furlong fillies maiden. She was a cheap purchase as a yearling, only costing 6,500gns. She will be up against some much more expensive purchases tomorrow so if she can finish mid division James Eustace will be very pleased with her. She shows a great attitude at home and is a very genuine filly. She again does not have a great draw, 3 of 14, which is on the outside.
