JOE CASTER runs at Sandown on Wednesday in a maiden race over 5 furlongs. He was a bit ring rusty and didn't seem that happy on the ground last time out at Yarmouth but hopefully he will improve on that performance this time. The ground should still be on the soft side of good which was similar ground conditions to his good debut run at Leicester. He has been in good form at home since Yarmouth so can hopefully run a big race on Wednesday.
At Yarmouth the same day there are 2 possible runners. FLASH OF FIRE is being dropped in class and runs in a claiming race over 10 furlongs with blinkers on for the first time. COLTON is also a possible runner as long as there isn't too much more rain. He will take his chance if the ground is no worse than good/ soft as he is running over 9 furlongs, a trip slightly short of his best. If the ground is a bit slow then this slight drop back in trip won't inconvenience him.
