KARKY SCHULTZ is stepping up to 8 furlongs tonight at Windsor, it will be his first run over this trip on the turf. James Eustace believes he will stay and he will appreciate the good ground so could run well. He ran well first time out this season but has been a bit unlucky in his 2 subsequent starts and he can hopefully put that behind him tonight.
On Wednesday 2 horse make the journey north to Catterick. CAVENDISH runs in a 2 mile handicap and he is a course and distance winner there. He is stepping up in class this time but he won well there before and ran well at Newcastle last time out. He is in good form and the ground is currently on the soft side of good which will suit him. This ground should also be ideal for SECOND OPINION who runs in a 6 furlong handicap on the same card. This looks to be her best trip so let's hope she can run well there too.
On the same day TOO HOT TOO HANDLE makes her seasonal reappearance at Lingfield. She is running in a median maiden over 6 furlongs on the polytrack. She only ran once last year as she was troubled by niggling problems. James Eustace is not sure if this is her best trip, he feels she may be better over further in time. She looked like being a nice filly last year so will hopefully run a nice race but is likely to benefit from this run.
