Lady Avenger runs at Leicester tomorrow

Friday, June 13, 2008
LADY AVENGER has been declared to run in a 5 furlong handicap at Leicester tomorrow, hopefully the ground will be OK for her. James Eustace is very keen to run her as she is in very good form at home but is worried the ground will be too firm for her. There is rain forecast so let's hope it comes in time. She has been dropped 2 pounds by the handicapper which gives her a chance but she has not got the best draw, drawn 10 of 10 which is on the outside.
The next runner is not until Tuesday at Yarmouth. SUNNY SPRITE has been found an ideal race,a 7 furlong rating related maiden. There aren't too many of those types of races. He looked as if he needed the extra furlong when he ran over 6 furlongs last time out. Again he would not want the ground to be too firm though.
FLASH OF FIRE ran a promising race at Yarmouth yesterday finishing fourth of 15 runners, he looks a nice staying prospect. BLUE ARCTIC also made an encouraging racecourse debut, finishing third. This is only the second 2 year old that James Eustace has run this year and they have both been placed which is a very promising start.
